As a Canadian, I’m mighty embarrassed about the Canadian Armed Forces member who sung the anthem, with blue nail polish.

Ridiculous.

Its amazing the best tendy the Canadians to come up with is Binner. Take a run or two at him. He's a head case. I don't see us beating this team twice, but I'm open to being wrong.

Congrats to all our Canadian fans here. That was 10x more fun than an All Star game.

Awesome game. This was much better than any All Star game. They should do this every off-year from the Olympics.

McJesus won it.

Yea it was. Not normally a hockey fan but watching the best in the world play at the highest level with passion and desire to win for their country is great. Competition brings out the best in people.

Incredible hockey and incredibly clean. I think just one penalty. McDavid has an amazing eye for shooting.

I watched it last night with my boys and they loved it but I noticed that the Canadian team seemed to be outplaying the US team for most of the night. They seemed to be in a whole other league as far as skill and playing ability.

Great tournament and some of the best hockey all year. But that's to be expected when these are some of the best of the all world class of players. However I think these exhibition tourneys need to be held during the off season. Albeit there isn't much of one. The regular season is already a long grinding road. Now you have the most elite players playing balls to the walls over a two week period while the rest of the majority of players have their toes in the sand healing and resting up. And of course the Russians are banned from international play so you have the most talented and probably the most elite of all players in the league not only resting up but are going to have a bit of an envy ax to grind to motivate them when the regular season starts again. This would have been a far better and even more exciting tournament had the Russians been there.

Not only that, Vegas has lost Shea Theodore due to an injury and Boston has lost elite defenseman Charlie MacAvoy for the rest of the season apparently. The Tkachuk brothers are both beat up as well. This just throws an unnecessary imbalance into the regular season imo. Knowing the NHL given the success in terms of viewership this tournament has garnered are not going to be able to leave well enough alone.

Agree with PA Sig, if you looked at the way the teams played, Canada looked like they should have had 15 goals on the US, their play was much more skilled and the USA was speed and brute force...

One thing about this tournament and it's timing, it got a lot of people watching Hockey that normally would not, maybe NHL will end up with more people watching the rest of the season.

I know I never watch NHL, or the Stanley Cup games, unless it's Tampa Bay in the mix...

They need to do something though about being able to help viewers see the puck, I'd say at least 3/4 of the time I had no idea where the damn puck was... LOL

That was a good game with a disappointing outcome. US couldn't get any real zone time through the first half of the game.

While I was skeptical of what this tournament was when I first heard about it, some good hockey was played. Definitely better than the normal all-star game which I don't even watch anymore.
