I hit a fire hydrant buried in the snow once while plowing. Wasn't fun. lol
Driving a big duel wheel Chevy pickup and it just stopped dead. My boss was in the passengers seat and bounced off the windshield. Only gave the hydrant about a 10º lean, but it completely destroyed the plow and plow frame both plow side and truck side. It was jarring to say the least.

Back in the day we had a bar/dance club that was always packed. At closing time there would be the “thunder run” from that bar, up a 4 lane highway for about a mile, a left turn and around a curve to one of our local high class trailer courts. On the curve was a business that was getting tired of having their mailbox smoked every weekend. They finally replaced the base with a small I-beam anchored by cement. It all ended one night when we found an old Ford Escort that center punched it. The headlights were almost pointing at each other.

Never knew Ryan Gosling was that into building snowmen.
