They are not acknowledging, let alone celebrating, so-called "pride month."

Hopefully more teams will stop the virtue signaling ridiculousness.

This is old hat for them Rangers, as they haven’t recognized the bullshit day in over twenty years.

I will give them credit for not following the herd, but I am honestly just as annoyed by the Faith and family night plan.

I legitimately don't care about other people's choices/beliefs/habits etc. Right up to the point they've got to wave them in my face and preach at me about why they're so much more enlightened/civilized/better or whatever. Religion, like sexual preference/practice, is a choice made by individuals, and I think most of us would appreciate they keep their choice behind the closed doors of their home. Its not my business and I don't want to hear about it in either case. I dont push my beliefs on others, I would expect the same. No shirts, hats, yard signs, vehicle decals, etc.

A Perpetual Disappointment...

The Christian’s I know who share the Gospel believe it would be an eternal mistake to leave this world without Christ hence they tell who they can. Your sexual preference is not the same.

Consider another angle by what Penn Jillette supposedly said about it. “ “How much do you have to hate somebody to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate someone to believe everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?”

And he is most certainly not a Christian.

While I’m not religious myself, comparing religious choice and faith to gender BS is a tough sell. Not just tough, but impossible.

If you said, “I don’t agree with anything I don’t like” I would understand that, but let’s not be silly.

Yes I support the Rangers and their decision to not participate in this BS.....

They are smart enough to know that the LGBTQ crowd isn't paying the bills at MLB parks, and that the meat and potatoes of people who pay the bills are families buying bats, gloves, jerseys for themselves, the family, kids.

Well we kind of are being forced to recognize it and participate in some manner albeit miniscule if one attends a game, concert, show that has some kind of "This Night" promotion. Doesn't mean you agree with what's being promoted, but you could buy tickets a month ago because of timing to take the family and find out you're in the middle of some LGBTQ promotion night.

Professional and for that matter all entertainment arenas need to just go and entertain us, be it hitting a ball with a bat or singing Opera in NYC on Broadway. Just do your professional act let us enjoy the show and the talent. We just want to get some time away from politics, and any recognition of anything other than the accomplishments of the team and certainly don't want to participate in something we disagree with or be told we're the problem with our political, social, sexual, religious or any other belief system we have.

Go back to free give away nights, t-shirts, hats, mini bats for kids, stickers, make a free beer and brat night, those are the things I remember well from watching sports at venues. Kids just want to go have fun and root on their favorite player.

Remember when we just went to the stadium to cheer on the home team?

Good on the Rangers. Too bad they're the only team willing to refrain from engaging in this idiocy. Wish other organizations would follow Texas' lead.
