I love Journey and they were actually the first band I ever saw live (think it was 82), but I'm not sure it would crack my top 10. The XM DJ's love to talk about all the drama that has gone on with them in recent years. ____________ Μολὼν Λαβέ 01 03 04 14 16 18

I’ll say you are wrong too. Now that that is out of the way, I tend to like song deviations during the live shows. Makes the concerts more enjoyable to me. Now, if you are referring g to a band that sounds nothing like themselves cause they just suck? I’ll agree but still won’t say Journey was the best. One of the best to me is the Glenn Miller Orchestra. I have to say “no” as well. Like oddball, I’ve never bought a single album of theirs. _______________________________________________________ despite them

Huh? Don’t Look Back and Third Stage from Boston were both very good albums with several hits from both. From Wikipedia:

^^^^ Beat me to it. Don't Look Back was a fantastic album. Regarding Journey...big fan here. Steve Perry has/had one of the best voices in music with an incredible range. Had their Greatest Hits (1988) on cassette and played the hell out of that. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Depends a good deal on your age. Count Basie and Cab Calloway were great if you were 18 in 1939.

I've always wondered how popular this band was. I've never liked them. Like others above, I always change the channel when they come on the radio. But since they get air time, I assumed they were popular. The vocals grate like nails on a chalkboard to me. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." ^^^THIS! Journey sucks because my brother-in-law is an asshole.
