Tell me I'm wrong. I usually hate in-person performances compared to the studio version. However, there's not much difference between the live version and studio version with this song.

That’s the Houston show. You can watch a lot of their songs from that show on YT. There is a Japanese show that has a lot of tracks as well.

They are a good band, I've seen them and have several albums, but my favorites are the first three albums before Steve Perry. I think Neal Schon is a great guitarist.

They're a good band, but I was never a fan, never bought any albums from them.

I know Steve Perry is iconic with Journey, take nothing from him.

He had some voice problems, exiting the band. I think they did a great recovery, new singer from the Philippines. They have the story on Netflix or Prime.

Listened to a lot of Journey in the 80s and had probably 5 records but wasn’t really a fan so I guess it’s not the best band in my book but it was worth my time.

Good enough? Wink

They are up there IMO, but best ever? That would be a long and fun conversation.

John Lennon just contacted me and said it’s ok to claim that Journey is more popular than Moses. Big Grin

Met Steve Perry once. He was from Hanford Ca. I was stationed at NAS Lemore. Biggest jerk I ever met in my life. Never bought any of his music and won’t listen to him on the radio. What an A Hole!

I will say Steve Perry may be the best vocalist ever but that list is long and the list of great bands is even longer.
I will say that Asian dude that replaced him is pretty dang good too but not the original.

I have a strict “No Journey” policy on my radio.
