I can never forgive Carter for leaving Americans hostage when he had competent, experienced military men who could have mounted a rescue, among other things, but I do believe FJB is worse. As far as intentions go, they cut no ice with me. I was a soldier under Carter. We had a big party in my unit in Germany the day he was voted out. Most of us knew nothing about Reagan, as we were kids, but we learned as soon as the Iran hostages were released. But, I sincerely believe FJB is a much worse president.
