PAsig, as Airsoft guy points out correctly. There are lots of good, salt of the earth, hard working, law abiding people in the PNW.

The rich, leftest, mostly coastal and large city whacko's dominate the population centers but do not represent the whole. And we should not paint with a broad brush. The large geographic area's of those states are counting on the rest of the country to move us as a whole in a new direction.

Like much of the PacWest (and really, much of the country), the Bluest-areas are the urban-metro areas, whereas the Red-areas are everywhere else. Of course, there's always a number of rural 'artist/university' enclaves that tilt things blue, and amongst the suburb/exburbs there are pockets of red pock-marking the urban-centers; find a similar electoral map of Oregon and the color differentiation is even more striking. If there's two cities/regions that are so diametrically different in the US, it's the differences between Seattle and Spokane.


As for 'who done it' the easy assumption is the far-Left antifa-types, as it's no mystery why their logo resembles the anarchy symbol ergo any disruption to the status quo or, mainstream cultural practices is celebrated and encouraged. HOWEVER, Portlandia is a well known hotbed for all manor of extremists anti-establishment types, which include the far-Right and other weird off-shoots.
