Thank you again for the awesome Military Appreciation Karma. My grandfather served in the Pacific during WWII My father was a Combat Engineer during Korea. I have 2 nephews currently in the Navy, a Lt. Commander and a Commander, my son is a Captain, Company Commander with the 11th Artic Airborne Division. I served in the US Army 10th SFG(A). I was there when my son finished Ranger School and also pinned his wings on him when he finished Airborne School. I also gave him his first NCO salute when he was commissioned. He recently told me one of his goals is to surpass my parachute jumps. He has a ways to go as I had 121 jumps from various aircraft. We jumped more in an SF unit than the average airborne unit does.

In for the generous karma. USAF 1998-2013 I'd still be serving in that capacity if I could. Instead, I've moved on to other means of service in the civilian world. Thanks for doing this. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "The trouble with our Liberal friends...is not that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so." I'll go in on this. My squad lead in Korea in ~2004/2005 taught me my most valuable life lesson: "It's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission." Has served me extremely well since then. ________________________________________________
