We were talking about it at work the other day so I thought I'd ask around. I'm also wondering if there is a correlation between length of marriage and hugs. We're talking just hugs here...not a prelude to a sexual encounter.

Minimum of 3 each day (hug and kiss) - before I leave for work, whether she's still asleep or not, when we get home from work, and at night before going to sleep. Usually 2 or 3 others during the day if we are together.

At least twice a day. Once when we leave for work and before going to bed with a hug in between sometimes. We have been married 20 years now. Kisses and hugs go together.

Several times a day. More than she likes sometimes. I'm part octopus apparently.

Oh and Wednesday was anniversary 14, 17 years together.

The only time we hug is when she initiates it and she brought that to my attention recently. I'm trying to do better by initiating at least one daily along with our normal hugs...that should do it. I'm not a huggy huggy, kissy kissy type of guy.

Also, she smokes and I don't and the smell is a total turnoff...it downright stinks.

Married 48 years. We saw a picture of a house while house-hunting, painted on the wall in the bedroom was "Always kiss me goodnight". We decided that was a great idea. Sometimes I "forget" two or three times. Multiple hugs, kisses, snuggling; we are totally nuts about each other--maybe more than ever. Doesn't mean we don't drive each other nuts once in a while. We've learned to accept and overlook a lot.

Today marks 21 years we've been married. I hug her at least twice a day and grab her butt 3-4 times a day
