I do this all the time. Fill the tank. Disconnect the negative. Make sure there is no food/debris/etc. in it and park it in a secure area. It will be fine.

Just remove the neg. battery cable.

My grandmother moved from FL to MD to live with relatives when she had health issues. Kept her house and car. Unhooked the battery and 6-month later hooked it back up and the car started. We also put stabilizer in the gas tank.

I would use a solar powered trickle charger. Better than one that needs the cord plugged into a receptacle.

All good advice.
I’d be sure it’s somewhere it won’t be towed. Even with prior acknowledgement I’d be very nervous at an apartment or dorm.

Cars routiy sit on the dealer's lot for two months or longer. Tires aren't affected.

My bike sits over 4 with no effects. I stopped jacking it up years ago. Trickle charging is smart. Treating gas won't hurt. I use Seaform.

Trickle chargers are not good for long term use as it will degrade the battery due to still "trickling" even when the battery is at max charge. A battery maintainer is a better alternative since they will sense a full charge and shut off.
