I have 3 USB flashlights and two of them are my all time favorite.

From left to right is:

Olight Mini Maurader which is my all around best light. It has two modes one will turn night into day and at the flip of the switch will light up a gnats ass from 1000 yards away with a nice tight crisp beam. It also has a rotary dial so you can easily dial in as much or as little power in either of the modes. It also shows the battery level and will easily tail stand. It has a 6500mah battery so it has a great run time even with the amount of light this thing throws. This is also my most expensive light when it was on sale for $225.

The middle light is an Olight Warrior X. It's my favorite EDC. It has a nice balance of throw and spot. It has warm beam that has excellent throw for its size and also has a nice wide beam to light up whats up near you. It will tail stand and has a nice strike bezel if you need to break something.

The far right is an Acebeam L16 and it does 80% of what the Warrior X does for less money. It has a much colder beam and it will not tail stand.

In the below picture you can see the switch that flip to change from spot to throw.

When you turn the macro stream on, does it come on at high intensity? Low intensity? Or does it "remember" what setting was most recently used?

Wound up buying a Petzl Swift RL. I'll give it a try on my trip later this month and give my thoughts.

Buying quite a bit of gear for this trip that I've been procrastinating on.

This trip will be just me and my cousin hiking ang fishing. Gear needs/wants are gonna be way different than making sure we packed enough diapers.

10 years to retirement! Just waiting!
