I have made several attempts at beards with less than stellar results. I get fuzzy, but never a impressive, full beard. Now, I'm trying a mustache.

Mine is turning grey. I don’t like the grey. Does Grecian Formula work on beards?

Just For Men for beards and mustaches works very well, I know that.

There's no shame in being unable to grow a beard. Whatever you do, just don't be Keanu Reeves who thinks he can but can't.

Go for the moustache though. Embrace you inner Tom Selleck!

I usually grow my mustache and beard in the winter and will probably start it in a couple of weeks. My beard comes in much grayer than my hair and I don't really like that as it really ages me, but I won't color it.

I've had a mustache since I could grow one, and a Goatee since maybe 2004

my goatee is almost white, (hair completely gray) and the stache is kinda dark,

hair started graying up when I was in my 20's and I figure at 55, I've earned damn near every gray hair,,

beard,, takes about 5-6 weeks to finally fill out, and then it is mostly gray

My wife likes me with a beard , so naturally....My mother used to say to me frequently, "Why don't you shave off that beard? It would make you look so much younger." It took me a while to realize, she wasn't saying it for my benefit, she didn't want people to think she had a son that old." At her funeral, I showed up clean-shaven. God bless you, mom.

I last cut off my mustache in boot camp in 1968. I grew it back upon graduation a few months later. I’ve had it ever since. 50 years and counting.

Did a full beard last winter. It actually grew in pretty well, not exactly evenly, but i could deal with that. Not sure that I want to do it again this year.

I used to grow a full beard in winter and shave it off in summer. The first time my wife saw me without a beard she said it will grow back won't it? Yes, it hides a lot of ugly. Smile I have had a full beard and mustache for the past 45 years. My kids, age 44 and 39 have never seen me without a beard. Yes, it is all grey and yes, it makes me look old, but then I am old, so there's that.

Now that mine comes in nice and full it's all grey.

FML.

Also, I never get over the itchiness and so I get to where I can't stand it anymore at about six weeks.

I work in a building that isn’t temp controlled. I wolf out in the winter and cut back to a close trimmed goatee in the summer.

Mine grows in patches. Looks like a pasture left to weeds. And half of what is there is blonde, so that doesn't help. So... baby face all year round. I look 20. I'm 34.

A Perpetual Disappointment...
