You hit the nail on the head. I’ve worked elections for the last 5 years, and can say, at least in the county I live in, the machines do exactly what they are supposed to do. I’ve watched the certification of the machines, have been involved in a recount, which came in with the same results as the election.

The problem is once you get ballots in the system, there is no way to know if they are fraudulent or not. All this mail in voting, lack of voter ID, etc.. is fraught with the ability to cheat. Drop boxes for mail in votes are also a problem.

Go back to vote on Election Day with an ID, and only use mail in ballots for specific cases like military out of state, true absentee cases etc… and by all means require an ID. I don’t want to hear I can’t get a license, you registered to vote, you have a voters registration card.

In Florida we use paper ballots that you put into the voting tabulation reader yourself, no poll worker touches your ballot once you have it in hand, ID is checked to be sure you are the correct person voting before you get a ballot.

Except for all the ballots that came in the back door in South Florida that one year.
