https://www.breitbart.com/2024...s-november-election/ Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) has issued an executive order to require all votes for the upcoming November election be cast with a paper ballot. Executive Order 35, signed on Wednesday, codifies the election security procedures put into place during Youngkin’s administration. The order outlines several election integrity requirements, including a “documented chain of custody” wherein ballots will be tracked through “every step of the process,” and that no voting machines will be used — just paper ballot-counting machines that are not connected to the internet. EO 35 also instructs the state’s Department of Elections to remove “non-citizens who may have purposefully or accidentally registered to vote.” Between January 2022 and July 2024, the Youngkin administration’s records revealed that over 6,300 non-citizens were removed from the voter rolls. Election officials also found and removed 79,867 deceased individuals from the voter rolls as well as registered voters who had moved out of state. “The Virginia model for Election Security works. This isn’t a Democrat or Republican issue, it’s an American and Virginian issue,” the governor said in a statement. “Every legal vote deserves to be counted without being watered down by illegal votes or inaccurate machines. In Virginia, we don’t play games and our model for election security is working,” Youngkin continued. He went on to describe the process by which paper ballots are counted and verified: We use 100 percent paper ballots with a strict chain of custody. We use counting machines, not voting machines, that are tested prior to every election and never connected to the internet. We do not mass mail ballots. We monitor our drop boxes 24/7. We verify the legal presence and identity of voters using DMV data and other trusted data sources to update our voter rolls daily, not only adding new voters, but scrubbing the lists to remove those that should not be on it, like the deceased, individuals that have moved, and non-citizens that have accidentally or maliciously attempted to register. During a later appearance on Fox News, the governor said, “Call me crazy, but I think American elections should be decided by American citizens and Virginia elections should be decided by Virginians.” Former President Donald Trump praised Youngkin’s executive order in a Truth Social post on Wednesday, writing: The beautiful Commonwealth of Virginia, superbly led by Governor Glenn Youngkin, IS TAKING A STRONG LEAD IN SECURING THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER — PROTECTING EVERY LEGAL VOTE AND KEEPING ILLEGAL ALIENS THAT HAVE BEEN LET INTO OUR COUNTRY FROM VOTING. All votes will be on paper ballots and counted safely and fairly, not by machines connected to the internet — A big security risk. We must work hard to make sure the Election is FAIR and SECURE!!! EVERY STATE SHOULD FOLLOW VIRGINIA’S LEAD. We need volunteers to watch the polls – So important. Trump concluded, “The Election on November 5th will be the MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION IN OUR COUNTRY’S HISTORY. Thank you Glenn, GREAT JOB!!!” _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Mark Twain

It will be interesting to see how Virginia votes when the Democrat fraud is eliminated. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Mark Twain

Thank you Very little |
In Florida we use paper ballots that you put into the voting tabulation reader yourself, no poll worker touches your ballot once you have it in hand, ID is checked to be sure you are the correct person voting before you get a ballot.

It's a great step in the right direction, but the real culprit is not electronic voting machines, it's universal mail-in ballots, which are also paper. Same day voting, no universal mail-in ballots, and paper ballots only is the only way to move forward. We need it all. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

And we need it most of all in the swing states. Election Integrity in Swing States By Robert A. Taft There are seven states that are considered 'swing' states. They are critical to the outcomes of national elections and one would think that the election security processes in these states would be top-notch. Unfortunately, they are anything but. The seven states include: Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. According to the Heritage Foundation election integrity scorecards, Georgia -- probably because of the pressure brought to bear on it from the questionable 2020 election results -- is the only one that scored well at 83 out of 100. The average of the other six is 59 percent. The average ranking for these seven is 29 out of the 50 states. If you add other possible swing states – New Hampshire, Maine, Colorado, Minnesota, and Virginia -- they average 54 percent. It is interesting to note that all the states ranked in the lowest election integrity rankings and performance are blue states. The foundation bases its findings on 14 criteria, six of which address voter ID, accuracy of voter registration lists, absentee ballot management, harvesting restrictions, access of election observers, verification of citizenship, private funding for election board members, and election audits. Requirement to present ID for voting: This criterion calls for a photo ID for both in-person and absentee ballots. The average score of the swing states is 10 out of a possible 20 points, which means the requirement does not apply in all cases and/or ID identification is suspect or lax. Voter List Accuracy: This criterion shows how rigorously election boards and secretaries of state monitor voter registration rolls. The average score of swing states is 18 out of 28, but this average is suspect for the following reasons: In the 2020 election, there were 29 million illegitimate voter registrations, according to United Sovereign Americans, of which 10 million resulting votes, throwing voting accuracy off by double digits. All of the swing states were involved in this voter list fraud. Absentee Ballot Management: This measures how well the state distributes absentee ballots, number of ballots one person can witness, signed request for an absentee ballot, receipt of all ballots by election day, etc. The average of the swing states is 10.5 out of 21. This exposes overall poor chain of custody of absentee ballots. Restricting Ballot Harvesting: This measures how well the state deals with the practice of gathering absentee ballots and delivering them to polling places. The swing state average was 19 out of 24 possible points. In addition, five of the swing states either require or allow drop-boxes, including Arizona, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Ensuring Citizenship: This measures how important states consider citizenship in the voting process. The average of the swing states is less than 1 out of 4. Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania have no requirement to prove citizenship. In 1924 and again in 1996 Congress passed legislation to ban non-citizens from voting in federal elections. The new SAVE Act, passed by the House confirms that. Nonetheless, these laws are being routinely violated, especially in key swing states. Based on a court case, Arizona had to prove citizenship but the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court ruled that Arizona must accept registrants who cannot prove citizenship prior to voting in state elections. Nevada gives drivers licenses to undocumented migrants and North Carolina gives such licenses to select undocumented migrants. But North Carolina, despite giving out drivers licenses, claims that a box on the ballot asking whether or not the voter is a citizen is sufficient to determine citizenship. In Arizona, Maricopa’s Recorder claims that requiring U.S. citizenship verification for voting in federal elections is unlawful. This is because the county is relying on illegal immigrants to vote in November. The number of voters in that county who haven’t provided proof of citizenship and cannot be confirmed as citizens has increased by over 32 percent since last October and county officials are fine with this. Similar situations exist in Michigan, Virginia, Vermont, among others. The Biden-Harris administration is encouraging illegal immigrants to register to vote and obtain drivers licenses in states where they can. This has prompted the Republican National Committee to file lawsuits to reverse this problem. Election Observer Access: This shows the degree of access election observers to ballot observation. The swing states claimed they all give “full and complete” access to election observers, yet this was a major bone of contention in the 2020 elections, particularly in swing states Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia. Private Funding to Election Officials: This exposes whether or not states allow private funding of their election officials. Three of the swing states allow this practice, including North Carolina, Nevada, and Michigan. Given the importance of the swing states' ballot counting, the mechanisms in place for ensuring accurate counts and preventing voter anomalies are suspect at best in these states. Despite volumes of sworn affidavits, video accounts, machine anomalies, the massive amounts of mail-in ballots, and the inconsistencies and operation of the voting machines, the 2020 elections were never adjudicated. Today nearly two-thirds of Americans do not believe the 2024 election will be honest and secure. If the elections indeed will be decided in the swing states, isn't it particularly incumbent on the officials in those state to ensure honest elections? All these states have been approached to strengthen their election processes, but little if anything has been done to change the landscape of 2020. Given their dismal election integrity state rankings and scorecards, doesn't the American voter deserve better? https://www.americanthinker.co...in_swing_states.html "Some things are apparent. Same exact thing in the Granite State, though I wish it wasn't so easy to get a Provisional Ballot here, and I'd also MUCH prefer if college students were required to vote in the state from whence they came. ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! Are those non-citizens in prison/did they register intentionally? I'm glad the man is doing one of the most basic aspects of his job, but those illegal voters need to go break rocks/clear brush for 10 years or so/testify about the "why" and "who" of their registration. (I find it VERY unlikely that a non-citizen registers to vote, on their own, barring ticking the wrong box while doing paperwork, etc - I can see various green card holders being confused while filling out forms.)

Michigan is charging in the opposite direction. They're passing legislation to remove any investigatory power from local canvasing boards and handing it to the State AG. I don't know whether the poll workers who check ID are volunteers or "temps" or what, but for the past ten or more years every one that I have encountered has been incompetent, untrained, or both. Attitude: Bullying Karen. Job Knowledge: Terrible. I should not complain about older workers, I'm 87, but these people are well past brain atrophy. I have been challenged EVERY time at the door by a guy wanting to see my Driver License. I tell him that I do not have it with me, and I enter, over his protests. I get to the check-in and present a Passport Card. Poll worker has absolutely no idea what she is looking at and tells me I can not vote without a Driver License. Situation gets escalated a level, sometimes two levels, before somebody actually pulls out an official list of acceptable IDs. Sure enough, right there, it says "Passport Card." See? To save face or whatever, they want a second ID, even though the official list specifies that Passport Card is sufficient. I show my carry permit (also on the officieal list of acceptable IDs). They finally give me a ballot, accompanied by stink-eye from multiple poll workers. Above scenario is EVERY TIME, without fail. WTF, Supervisor of Elections (a County office here in Florida) -- why are these people not trained? Why do they not just accept a Passport Card and be done with it? Why the tunnel vision, focused on Driver License as the only acceptable form of ID? </rant> הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים

Seems like a pretty simple solution to the problem is to show your damn drivers license ?

Yeah... we've tightened it up a bit here. It used to be a utility bill or practically anything with your name on it. In reality, if you push it, it's still super lenient because you can vote a "provisional ballot" without ID. But most people do show a driver's license. ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF VOTER ID Show one of the forms of acceptable identification and sign the poll book to obtain your ballot: A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver license; A nonexpired military ID, including a veteran’s ID card; A nonexpired United States passport; or Another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri which is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election. *If the driver or non-driver license has expired after the most recent general election, it is an acceptable form of voter ID. If you do not possess any of these forms of identification, but are a registered voter, you may cast a provisional ballot. Your provisional ballot will count if: (1) you return to your polling place on Election Day with a photo ID; or (2) the signature on your provisional ballot envelope is determined by your local election authority to match the signature on your voter registration record. Driver License has a lot of information that they don't need. Passport Card and Carry Permit have name, date of birth, and photo. Nothing else. I'm going to assume that their computer system does not have any better security than any other systems. Why should I allow a DL with a lot of personal information over and above basic ID, to be scanned into a system that might very well be vulnerable to hackers? הרחפת שלי מלאה בצלופחים
