https://www.thegatewaypundit.c...projected-win-texas/ By Jim Hoft | Mar. 3, 2026 5:15 PM MAGA Texas Attorney General is expected to win the Texas Republican Senate primary today according to the Polymarket Poll. Paxton, a staunch conservative and MAGA favorite is leading in the Polymarket Poll over RINO John Cornyn by 60 Points! Paxton is well known for fighting election fraud in the state of Texas. Ken Paxton also filed the lawsuit in 2020 contesting the election in four states where Biden reportedly defeated President Trump with mysterious late-night ballot drops. 126 US representatives supported Paxton’s case. 23 states joined Paxton and Texas in the lawsuit. The Supreme Court refused to take on the case. The Texas primaries are being held today. ***UPDATE***: A runoff between the two is going to be. https://amp.star-telegram.com/...rticle314895228.htmlThis message has been edited. Paxton got my vote as well. I think he will be fine in the runoff. Cornyn has been around too long and his RINO strips are deep. Texas unfortunately has some large populated dem towns but still has enough rural down to earth voters to make a difference.

Wesley Hunt drew 14% of the vote. I would bet more of that will end up with Paxton in the runoff. Go Paxton! "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Paxton has been polling far ahead of Cornhole for awhile, scaring the crap out of him. I expect Paxton to win the runoff and win in November. My candidate for AG Mayes Middleton is in a runoff with Chip Roy for A.G. as well. John Cornyn, $69 million spent Ken Paxton, $4 million "Some things are apparent. Where did that $69 million come from? Was it from the Democrat machine? From China, via Act Blue? -c1steve

I believe Trump will likely now back Cornyn. I don’t think Paxton will just drop out, he believes he can defeat cornyn, even with John having the endorsement. I hope Trump can get something from Mitch and Thune for backing cornyn. Perhaps passing the SAVE act. "Some things are apparent. with everything Paxton has done, why would he back Cornyn? I don't get it ...

I don't like it either... and I think Trump should continue to sit this one out. But he wants one of them to drop out so he says he's going to endorse. That most likely means John Cornyn because Cornyn is tight with Thune and he may lose any chance at a legislative agenda between now and next January as Cornyn just decides to be a thorn in his side. I don't think he should endorse either one of them, let Texas voters settle this. If he's going to endorse I would hope he would endorse Paxton, but it's not likely. “I hope it’s going to be soon,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune told reporters Wednesday about an official Trump nod, hours after making his latest plea on Cornyn’s behalf to the president. This message has been edited. For me, it is a toss up who Trump will endorse. On paper, Paxton is the MAGA candidate, and Trump loved his tenacious work on the border, voter fraud, etc. But Cornyn is more of a political choice, he can possibly be leverage in getting the SAVE Act passed. I don't agree with Trump getting in the middle, but I do understand his frustration, which I share. The Republican Party in TX should not be running five candidates in the primary, almost a guarantee for a runoff election, which siphons off time, war chest campaign money, and momentum going into November. There seems to runoffs every year with the Republican Party, its hard to keep track. A couple of my neighbors did not vote in last months runoff because they had no idea it was happening. The Republican Party does not "run" candidates. Candidates make the decision for themselves whether or not to run. "Some things are apparent. We don’t watch a variety of TV channels. Until right before the election, Cornyn’s ads we saw were targeting Hunt. Says to me the thought was that Paxton’s supporters were locked in and not easily swayed by any arguments against Paxton. Paxton has enough baggage to make a case against him in the general election, it’ll be a rough, tight, contentious runoff. Bill Gullette
