Escalation may be a good thing. If many Jews are so ignorant as to vote for Obama, et al, some real life experience may be what they need to wake up. Better some bruises now, than death or severe injury years later.

Republicans are portrayed in the media as fundamentalist christians who think Jews are "christ killers". Many Jews in the US live in urban areas in democrat dominated states and not in areas where they would meet a lot of Republicans. Almost all of the people I grew up with in the Chicago suburbs are hard left regardless of religion, especially the ones that ended up in California. So it's a function of environment as much as anything else.

Black Lives Matter Goes Global, Claims Solidarity With Palestinian Terrorists

https://freedomwire.com/blm-palestine-solidarity/

Black Lives Matter is going global. The Marxist-led organization isn’t content with just ruing America; they must try and destroy foreign nations as well.

This time they are targeting the State of Israel.

As Palestinian terrorists based in Gaza continue to launch rockets into Israeli civilian centers—a clash that they started— Black Lives Matter here in America has decided that it is the Israelis who are acting unjustly and are the aggressors…which is a total lie.

But when have facts ever mattered to BLM?

The Leading Black Lives Matter organization tweeted:

“Black Lives Matter stands in solidarity with Palestinians. We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. ( Always have. And always will be ). #freepalestine.”

This is a historically illiterate tweet. Israel can’t be a country that embraces colonialism, because there was never a nation of Palestine to begin with.

Israel won its independence in the War against Arab armies in 1948 after Great Britain withdrew its control of the region.

Calling Israel imperialists and occupiers is false because there was never a Palestinian state in the first place. Jews have considered Judea home for centuries, long before Islam even existed as a religion.

That is a historical fact, but it’s one that Black Lives Matter leaders either don’t know or are willfully omitting from the debate over who should control the Holy Land.

It should come as no surprise that BLM is ignorant of history, though. These are the same people who believe the fake history 1619 Project should be taught to American students, the same people who subscribe to Critical Race Theory, and the same people that believe Marxism is the path to utopia.

And this is not hyperbole. The group is led by Marxists and they have sought to teach a Marxist curriculum to students around the country. They want to tear down the United States, Israel, and the entirety of Western Civilization.

The Movement for Black Lives organization openly proclaims that “We believe and understand that Black people will never achieve liberation under the current global racialized capitalist system.”

Black Lives Matter Global Network co-founder Patrisse Cullors revealed that she and her fellow BLM creators are “trained Marxists.”

“Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists,” Cullors said in the 2015 interview. “We are super-versed on, sort of, ideological theories.”

BLM also wants to undo the nuclear family. Yes, that’s right, say goodbye to Mom and Dad and hello to one-world socialism. The State will take care of you now. They know what’s best for you.

On their website, Black Lives Matter states the following:

“We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”

This is the organization that is openly supporting a terrorist movement attacking a sovereign nation. Sadly, BLM has wide support in this country, as evidenced by last summer’s riots that rocked America.

The streets of America looked like the streets in Israel and Gaza today. A fitting image for two evil organizations.

The two are meant for each other. They have a lot in common. That is good for them, but bad for the future prospects of Western Civilization.

I'm not religious at all, I hate everyone and not even equally. But if it ever came down to a fight, I'd be on the side of Israel or Jews any day of the week. Any country or group the rest of the world hates on so much has to be doing the right thing and I want to be a part of it.

It's my opinion that the more totalitarian a State becomes, the more antisemitic it becomes. I think I know why.

Historically, the last 150-years, Jews have sided with Socialist causes, citing the discrimination faced in Russia during the Czars and the social accepted anti-semitism Europe in the 19th century. The Russian Revolution fueled all sorts of fantasy and hope, stimulating all manor of Communist wishful thinking for many throughout the first half of the 20th century. Many Jews in Hollywood, and STEM fields through out the Western world were openly sympathetic to Communist causes, willfully ignoring the story of the gulags that were going on within the Soviet Union because Nazi Germany and its brand of anti-semitism was far worse.

Post WWII, despite all the evidence that Leftism has no love for Judaism, there's many in the US that continue to cling to the idea that leftist political ideology is most compatible.

I was born Catholic and raised Episcopal, but was never really into it. Since I left home I don't go to church except weddings and funerals.

I did study philosophy in college for my humanities electives and one class was in comparative religions. Of all of them, I found Judaism rather interesting. My T.A, a skinny redheaded freckled grad student had decided to convert. He explained a lot of things about the inherent contradictions in Christianity that you don't learn in Sunday school.

If the last battle on earth is Israel defending their home land, I would fight for Israel.

I had a Jewish housemate in 2008 for several months. Jacob was born here, and a hardcore lefty (still is afaik). His half brother Mordechai was born in Israel and served in the IDF. They couldn't be more completely different. Mordy came to visit once and I was asking him about his time in the IDF. He was telling us about a former Spetsnaz guy they had come talk to his unit about the different AK's and explain how they worked, what kind of abuse they could tolerate, etc. I told Mordy I had one under my bed, and he wanted to see it. Jacob about shit his pants that there was an AK47 in the house, and even asked me "you're comfortable with people being able to own those?" I assured him I was. His brother laughed at him.

I think a lot of Jews in this country have too much time and distance on the problem.
You would think of all people the Jewish people would understand the importance of being able to protect yourself.

The school district I work in has teachers who are openly anti-Israel and support Palestine with posters and flags. They put people like Tlaib and Omar and their disgusting anti-Jewish rhetoric out there as good role models for kids.
It’s insane putting this crap into children’s heads.
Parents are either not aware or don’t care.

I'm not Jewish but I am Torah observant. It's something that's called to me for most of my life. I can't explain it beyond that. I throw my name in with those that do and will stand with Israel.

I do think a lot of modern Judaism is missing something. Perhaps the blame belongs at the shtender. It's the same with modern Christianity. In my view we'd be in unity if it weren't for tradition.

Rigorously (i. e. ultra-) Orthodox Jews tend to reject the current state of Israel because it was not established by the Messiah. If living in Israel, they will not serve in the IDF, as a law made as a sop to the then-small community exempted them from the draft if they dedicate themselves to religious studies. As the group has grown due to much higher birth rates, this has led to tensions with seculars, moderates and national religious Israelis who resent them living on public welfare (apparently they don't reject that particular function of the state) and/or have their women work for the family income, have gender-segregated busses running in their quarters, pelt stones at immodestly-dressed women and outsiders breaking sabbat rules there, and will riot if the state tries to apply laws they reject to them, like including them in the draft (though special male-only units have been created for them) or in COVID restrictions. Though not all of them are as radical as the leader who once went to a Holocaust denier conference in Iran.

I think there's a lot of projecting domestic American politics on Israel here. This is an entirely different society with different issues and its own political divisions. They've had four national elections in the last two years, and Benjamin Netanyahu is currently failing to form a stable majority government again for as many times. Most don’t care whether there's a D or an R behind the name of the current guy in the White House. In the end, all US administrations of either color have supported Israel where it really matters (military aid, backing at the UN etc.) in the last 50 years, despite disagreements over individual policies. They may notice increasing anti-Israeli tendencies in the American Left, but then they will also note people shooting up synagogues out of good old-fashioned right-wing Jewish conspiracy thinking, i. e. "Jewish organizations facilitating mass immigration" and such. I expect American Jews will be just as politically diverse, and note the same things.

Blessed be the Lord my Rock,
Who trains my hands for war,
And my fingers for battle—

My lovingkindness and my fortress,
My high tower and my deliverer,
My shield and the One in whom I take refuge,
Who subdues my people under me.

Lord, what is man, that You take knowledge of him?
Or the son of man, that You are mindful of him?

Man is like a breath;
His days are like a passing shadow.

Bow down Your heavens, O Lord, and come down;
Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

Flash forth lightning and scatter them;
Shoot out Your arrows and destroy them.

Stretch out Your hand from above;
Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters,
From the hand of foreigners,

Whose mouth speaks lying words,
And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

Many orthodox Jews serve in the IDF. But the vast majority of ULTRA Orthodox Jews do not. They also tend to have enormous birthrates, and presumably, many leave the fold. Their intensely religious lifestyle and studies are often partially or even fully funded by less religious, really wealthy Jewish patrons whom support and admire their dedication to Torah.

This a very complicated issue.

Historically the Republican party had no use for Jews.

The Democratic party was way more welcoming, and lots of Democratic party affiliates back it up bu buying many millions of Israeli Bonds to support Israel. Labor Unions were another place Jews were welcome

Plenty of republican organizations and social spaces where republican hang out still have a no Jew policy, its not written, just look at the membership roles.

As Nixon said, Fk the Jews they don't vote for us anyway.

It is only since the Democrats shifted far left has is left the Jews in political limbo.

Most Jews that have been elected to office came up through the ranks of the Democratic Party.

The Chuck Shummers of the world had to start somewhere.

80% of the Jews elected to National Office have run as Democrats.

Palestinians invading the Diamond District in NYC, throwing small explosives while the cops stand by.
Mark my words: This is going to get ugly. Possibly very ugly. American Jews have their hands so tied by false guilt over the plight (caused by Arab nations) of the Palestinian refugees that it may take more than even a few mass shootings to wake them up.
You may see armed guards popping up at synagogues in Westchester/Rockland counties in NY but not elsewhere. NYC Jews will march themselves into the boxcars whispering "Don't make trouble! Hurry up!"
I know. I lived there.

Tragic.
