Never gave it a thought, but my wife, she goes straight for the raw hard stuff!

^^^^^^
My ex-GF is like that, she'll go through that stuff by the pint. But then she was always a really serious choc-o-holic.

Me, I never even though to see if there is a taste difference. Now I'm gonna have to go get some of each and try it for myself. Damn it.

Hey I recognize that place! Hershey's Chocolate World in Hershey, PA

We went there a few years ago and my kids loved it, they got to build their own big Reese's PB cups and I loved that they had recently bought out Dot's so her pretzels were everywhere there. Cool

I prefer the Green Label hard stuff.

My real fav choc morsel is the Lindt Balls Milk Choc. Dark is ok too

I'm an absolute barbarian... I actually prefer Hershey's over the 'good' chocolate! In my defense, I did grow up poor.

I grew up on Hershey's chocolate (and near them too, used to go to Hershey Park), and they are kind of like a comfort candy for me. I am a chocoholic though. I've also been known to go right for the hard stuff like cparktd's wife.

But dang, Hamden106, the first time I had one of those Lindt balls, I didn't know what hit me. They were to die for! And I pass their outlet store on I-81 in southern PA fairly often (although I have never stopped). There are two bags in the cabinet at home at this moment.

Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.

Because the entry level choc bar are more thin, they contain more wax or something to make then harder.

I have never been a fan of the kisses. To chalky. The bars don't do much for me either. However, the Hershey Symphony bars I am a fiend for, so I never buy them.

My wife worked at Hersheys for about 7 years. She smelled great when she came home from work! Some days we could smell the chocolate on the wind from Hershey, other days from the M&M / MARS factory in town. Our son worked at HersheyPark for two summers.

I never worked at Hershey, but I did my part keeping them solvent Smile
