Developed in Poland. So much for all the bad jokes from the 70s about Polacks.

That’s actually quite cool. I would like to take one out for a ride/flight.

I wonder how it would handle some of the terrain where I live; flat desert, and then there is a ditch or gully that is 40’ wide and 20’ deep. As it appears to be a hovercraft, I would be a little apprehensive about sudden drastic changes on the topography.

Looks pretty cool but it's not the first video I've watched of a flying motorcycle concept and so far none have been brought to market which is the challenge.

These look pretty cool too.

Jetson One.

I just wonder if there is a way to bail out with a chute if there is a prop failure or some other catsasstrophe causing you to drop like a rock.

A friend of mine who owned a Piper Cub once described it as "a motorcycle with wings".
Looks like that concept has been made real!

I was wondering that, too. How high can it go out of ground effect?

I’m beginning to doubt that the Velonaut Airbike actually exists. The video could easily be AI generated.

I haven’t seen anything about its engine. Or expected availability date.

Unlikely.

At the Jetson One's max altitude of 1500 feet, by the time you have recognized the need to get out, doing so and time for the chute to be of use, while "going downhill", the outcome is very low for survival, and most operations would likely be lower than that max, decreasing survival envelope a great deal.

The literature says that the Jetson has a "Ballistic parachute with rapid deployment time". However, the lowest minimum altitude I've seen listed for these devices is 100 meters.

It looks like a ton of fun, and I'd like to ride it.

But, there is zero chance to recover from any malfunction. Don't go any higher or faster than you'd like to fall!

Over water might be a smart place to ride for safety.

It doesn't appear to use any form of ground effect, meaning its max altitude above the ground could be really high.
