If you are going through western KY hit Starnes BBQ in Paducah, been there 1955

Old school counters and the BBQ pork sandwich on white bread is awesome, their sauce is good, vinegar based with a kick, I used to get 4 or 5 to have for the trip back to Lexington,

They usually were enough to get part way up the WKY Parkway LOL

For a multistate chain it is actually pretty good and consistent.
Smoked turkey and potato salad is a great combo.

If you are ever around Eastland in Lexington hit up Dickey’s it pretty good too.
Their fried okra is always done right and their jalapeño sausage is good.
