So you watched the whole video? Did you also see where he condemned pedophelia or did you just take part of his statement and let it reinforce your dislike of him?

65 grand? Is that just a refundable deposit or is that standard rent for a place like that?

I would like to see other contracts to see if they charge the same amount.

That was a huge mess when he misspoke, though. Gave the other side ammunition.

Glad he emerged stronger than before.

It was interesting to see many on the right eagerly jump ship when that scandal broke. Interesting and quite pathetic.

Milo has said he only calls Trunp "daddy" because it annoys leftists.

I take issue with this characterization of Shapiro. He did not do nothing to help defeat Clinton. He exposed her for the complete fraud she is every opportunity he could. I had trouble understanding why he wouldn't support Trump in light of this. I think I understand better now and I respect Shapiro's position. His position was that four years of Clinton, and the assumption maybe that she would expose her incompetence and subsequently lose to a Republican in four years, would be better than the even greater and more long lasting damage he thought Trump would do to the U.S. and the Republican Party.

Ok, fair enough. He did expose and cover Hillary's many failures but he certainly bashed Trump quite a bit before the election. For a smart man there was an awful lot on the line in this last election and thinking four years of Hillary would help republicans later on is a flawed and defeatist strategy. I think Ben's falling out with Breitbart might also have played into things.

So when Shapiro criticizes Clinton, it's "covering and exposing a failure," but when it's Trump, it's "bashing"?

He didn't vote for Trump. Its fine to call your side out on things they do wrong. It's another to not support someone from your own party on a critically important election like that. It kinda made me wonder with conservative friends like Ben Shapiro what republican needs enemies?

Yeah. I still have trouble understanding his logic. If he said he couldn't in good conscience vote for Trump, I'd respect that. But given such a statement, I would have liked to ask him before the election, "Ben, either Clinton or Trump will be elected. It's one or the other. Who do you prefer?" I cannot believe he would have said Clinton. My logical conclusion is to vote for Trump. Shapiro's was to write someone in--I think Pence.

I think there was bad blood between Ben and the Trump admin after his collegue was shoved by one of Trump's people. That might have played a role in him not voting for Trump. It is the only thing that makes sense. After 8 years of Obama messing things up 4 more years with Hillary does not help republicans in any way.

I don't buy that. I don't question Shapiro's integrity for a second.

Andrew Breitbart himself most certainly would have stood behind the reporter.

It's impossible to say with absolute certainty how Andrew would have handled that situation.
