It was a beautiful thing that the first and only hit on the target board was directly on the orange center.

That's about 100 yards farther than what you need to shoot to get an Antelope in Why-oming. Them bastards got great eyesight....

I grew up eating antelope, so either they aren't that hard to harvest or Father and Mother were better hunters than I gave them credit for being. In fact, I'd hazard a guess that was the only meat I ate until I was three.

As for the shot, 1/70 is the realm of random chance. Even a roulette wheel is 1:33 odds.
