A Grateful American

| Split-phase 240V is typically a simple process of replacing the breaker and reconfigure the panel going from 220 to 110 if that j-box is currently 220V. But you will need to know the total amp draw for your (all) the kitchen appliance(s), and any other load on that circuit to be certain the wire gauge is sufficient if it is 110V. And if not already done, use GFCI breaker(s) for the circuit(s).

Partial dichotomy
| If I were you, I'd wrap it in plastic so rain water won't get inside. For the time being.

Savor the limelight
| Looks small for spa wiring. Most spas need a 50 amp breaker, three 6AWG copper wires and an 8AWG copper ground wire. Even though the pump and heater are 220V, the control panel will be 120V thus the need for a neutral. |
