Not sure. I think she wants something that is less cumbersome and tiring to use. Whatever she has now is more then necessary and tiring / bulky to use.

Was thinking about that but it's a fiberglass handle. And the head is larger / heavier than she would like. And it's due for replacement.

Maybe for short term until a good replacement can be found.

If you buy an Estwing, it’s a lifetime investment. I had the geologist’s hammer my dad bought in the early 1950s, until about ten years ago when some lowlife corksoaker swiped it from my truck toolbox.
