Of all the things I did in the Marines this was by far the coolest. Most radio repair guys probably don't get to experience this but our CO worked hard in trying to get us out of the shop and was able to secure several spots for our unit to go do a bunch of cool shit. This was one of the things I was lucky enough to participate in.
