You got yourself a new dolly it seems . VERY handy around the house . I found one in my neighbors trash pile . Two new wheels from Harbor Freight and it was as good as new .

Not so sure on being a thief, betting he's doesn't have insurance and seeing a man in the road stopped, waiving and yelling at him probably thought Mark was trying to get him back because the dolly fell off and maybe damaged Marks Truck, so he ran.....

If you don't need it, donate it to some charity that moves boxes of stuff around or furniture as was suggested, get a receipt take a tax break for it.

If the Lord see’s fit to give you a dolly you accept it because the Lord may possibly be smiting your washing machine sooner than you think and we must all be aware of the small miracles.

If you don’t need it, pick a church/bookstore/library and drop it off. It will get plenty of good use.

Some of the scrappers will drive around neighborhoods and look for anything metal in yards. If they see something whether it's on the street or not they will take it. That could have happened with the hand truck that was in someone's yard. They took a newly painted bicycle frame that was hanging on my son's porch drying while the paint was still wet.
