Get my pies outta the oven!

| Never heard of Malt O Meal, is that a regional thing? If I eat hot cereal, it’s usially old fashioned rolled oats or steel-cut oats.

His diet consists of black coffee, and sarcasm.

Whether regional, I couldn't say, but it has been around for decades. I remember TV commercials for it as a kid. "Get on the Malt-o-Meal mobile, [repeat], put some spark in your engine, see how good you feel," went the jingle, accompanied by a kid hauling ass (filming sped up) on a bicycle. (Why I remember shit like this from 50 years ago but not where I put something a minute ago, I have no idea.) This was in California, FWIW. |

Oh stewardess, I speak jive.

| I have never once in my life had a bowl of oatmeal, malt-o-meal, or cream of wheat. |

Jeez, jhe! You’re not supposed to tell them that.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown |

You aren't missing anything.

Muzzle flash aficionado

| As a child, my mom would cook Quaker's Oats and I'd stir in about 3 tsp of sugar, which liquified in the heat. I could eat it that way (didn't want milk in it). Now that I have Type 2 Diabetes, I can't eat oats any more (can't use sugar). flashguy

Delusions of Adequacy

| I would also favor grits over the poll choices. My other hot cereal choice is Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 8 Grain Hot Cereal. Tasty and nutritious. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VLV7OM. Might be unorthodox, but I like it with a dolop of sour cream and a spoonful of sambal oeleck chili sauce on top. Isn't Kareem of Wheat the name Buckwheat took after he converted to Islam?
