We had a Serta memory foam mattress from Sam's club that lasted 5 years (which for a 400 mattress, I thought was pretty good).
Replaced with a newer version of the same, but no where near as comfortable.

Finally broke down after trying numerous brands and fell into a latex mattress and have been very happy with it.

I shall respect you until you open your mouth, from that point on, you must earn it yourself.

There are so many different kinds. Do a lot of internet research and when you're ready to buy there are many brands that will give you a trial period. If you don't like it, you can return it within the given time frame.

I know things have changed and the European made Garme foam mattresses we have had for well over a decade are no longer sold in the US. That said the Visco memory foam has proved both very comfortable and durable.

We bought a Leesa 10 years ago. It needed replaced last summer. We switched to a Purple. It took a minute to get used to the "egg crate" top. but I like it a lot more than the Leesa, and I loved the Leesa.

I love my Purple, but it's too pricey for me know.

We bought a Tempur-Pedic split king with the adjustable bases. Still using them 8 years later they are great, however we bought another set from Amazon for much cheaper, and those are just as good. I understand that this is made by the same folks that produce some name brands. I also bought a queen Casper for the camper. Quite the upgrade. Will never have an inner spring mattress again.

I think ours is a nova. Just know we got it at Costco. We only bought to upgrade to a king and I moved my queen that was only two years old into a guest room (some random brand from Amazon that was dirt cheap, but actually comfortable). I like it overall, and it doesn't get hot. Plus was only like 500 or so at the time.

I'm not super picky on mattresses. Just hate when they are too soft, but overall I can sleep anywhere in pretty much any position when I want to.

Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.
