People seem to forget this guy had a major stroke. He has had a remarkable recovery but he certainly has intellectual deficits that are not completely obvious to the casual observer.

There was a time where I thought maybe this guy had turned a page and the stroke had done something to change him for the better, but I’ve come to the conclusion that John Fetterman is all about John Fetterman, and he’s still a deep blue Democrat through and through and will never really change.

I wear board shorts, moisture wicking t-shirts, and flip flops, almost year round. Our winters are cold so for 3 months only I’ll have to change my attire. How about just stay with the message, instead of shooting the messenger's "style", which does nothing to bolster your case. Your statement was made with such conviction making it sound like you knew what you were saying. But, a one-click internet search on his gun control position popped right up proving otherwise. I don't know how anyone can miss this guy's position on guns. The NRA gave him a zero rating for a reason. He's aligned with Gabby Giffords for a reason.

I heard him interviewed on a local station last month. The reporter asked, now that you are a senator, will you try to overturn the Second Amendment? And he said no, he would not do that, because people need to be able to defend themselves against criminals. I figured that meant he was strong on 2A. But when I checked his record, the opposite seems to be true. In any case, he is not strong on 2A. I acknowledged that.

The biggest surprise of 2023 was this guy. Some will skeptically tell us it's a ploy, and it may very well be, but I don't get that sense, not at all. Call me naive but I don't care. I choose to believe that the man is sincere.

I am not trying to speak for Para. The quote is from a year ago, and he might have changed his mind since he did not weigh in on this thread. But the point I want to make is that if someone as perceptive as Para could believe that Fetterman is sincere, then 1) he is sincere or 2) he is a world-class fraud.

I don't see how you could've paid attention and missed all the ads showing Fetterman struggling to knot his tie, struggling to walk, and struggling to speak. They were the meanest ads I have ever seen. There was an intense backlash against them, and that's what carried Fetterman into office.
