sns3guppyAn Aviation question
A student of mine will come to expect an engine failure as a routine occurrence, and would be shocked to make it very far through a lesson without a power loss. I also believe in power loss to a landing and approaches to, and landing on roads, when possible. I also do approaches to fields and other locations to allow the student to see their chosen forced landing site up close and personal. The significance of power lines, fences, etc, take on a different meaning when looking up at them from the cockpit, or seeing them at eye level.

TinymanGuess if you were really interested you could stop by their airport office (sometimes called FBO or Fixed Base of Operations) and ask to talk to a flight instructor & ask them -- 99% of them would love to talk about aviation. The other 1% are Dicks.
