Some victims' families and Republicans are demanding his absence.

There are over 100,000 signatures petitioning for him not to attend.

I don't care that he's a Muslim. I do care that he's a freedom hating communist. I'm more upset about his destructive ideology and policies than the symbolism of his attendance at a PR event. Dude is between a rock and hard place on this one. People will say it's disrespectful if he doesn't attend, and accuse him of being insensitive if he does. Sometimes life is hard when you're a scumbag.

This exactly. “Never forget” was a rally cry in response to an attack from Mamdani’s kind of people. He doesn’t even try that hide it. To see New Yorkers elect this filth in the first place tells me that everyone that promised to never forget has either forgotten or already left. Infuriating.

He’s the mayor, he’s attending, and the rest is outrage politics which doesn’t move my needle. Honestly, it would move my needle if he didn’t attend as the mayor. His policies and viewpoints definitely move my needle to the red.

Read up on the red-green alliance. They are using each other to achieve the goals of each group: The destruction of the United States. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of thing. The part that scares me is that's three more years of people fleeing the city. I am wondering if those left in NYC will just elect his dumb ass again when the time comes.

Hopefully, three more years is plenty of time for him to run out of other peoples' money.

I hope they just ignore him, and focus on what tomorrow is supposed to be about...honoring and remembering the victims of that horrible day 25 years ago. There were also a lot of genuine heros who acted that day, and we need to celebrate what they did. We shouldn't taint the day by focusing any attention on that piece of shit.

Keep in mind that around 103 million in the US today were either not here, not yet born, or too young to be aware during those days and years right after.
That's close to a third of our population.
I suspect anyone that is not a radical would prefer he just crawls in a hole and stays there unnoticed.
Like others, I don't care that he's Muslim, just that he has all the rest of his radical beliefs and anything he says to appease people on 9/11 will be fake.
