Ken has been doing a great job as guest host. I’d be okay if he continued. The host should know his shit. Some of the celebrities mentioned aren’t likely knowledgeable enough in a variety of subjects.

These go to eleven.

You know, I could, too. I like LeVar Burton. I'm from the generation that grew up watching episodes of Reading Rainbow in the classroom, and I think he'd be great for the job.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well Ken Jennings has done this week. He has done great. I think it would be fine if they picked him. Although I must admit it will be fun to see how some others do.

Jennings has a huge history (obviously) with the game, and it well known and liked by it's audience. He's the obvious choice.

They can skip these celebs ,as far as I am concerned ,
K.J. is doing fine , just fine.

I can see him better with time.
Great for him and the show.

Another vote for Ken. We gave him the week, but I was sold the first day.

I don't disagree that Ken is doing just fine...he's even added prop humor. Jeopardy is such a great show, it wouldn't be a bad idea to use a different host each season going forward...would keep the emphasis on the actual show and not the host.

There is actually a poll up on the www. Asking if Ken Jennings should be the perminant host.

When I voted this afternoon,
76% said yes

Ken Jennings is a nice enough guy, but I found him somewhat... cardboardy as a host. Not bad, per se, just uninteresting.

The current joker, the show's exec producer, is smarmy--particularly in his end-of-show comments. Don't care for him.

My wife says they're going to try Katie Couric next. We won't be watching.

They have others tentatively lined-up: https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/n...-hosting/ar-BB1dYX7H

Mayim Bialik (Blossom, Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler) might work? (I don't see her current gig, Call Me Kat, lasting, but stranger things have happened.)

I like Ken Jennings. Theoretically, he's the smart choice. But when I saw him in the other game show, he's aged considerably well. Part of his charm was his boyish looks but, to be fair, he was champion a very long time ago.

I have no second choice. I would be surprised if they pick someone from left field and people would go: "that was kismet!"

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Ken Jennings is a progressive elitist, anti conservative. Disappointing how you folks keep on supporting this crap.

No wonder this country going to hell and these K J supporters each bear responsibility for it continuing decline. Don't support the enemy.

Go back and read the thread title. This is supposed to be a non political thread and as someone who is tired of politics right now I would appreciate you carrying that shit elsewhere.

Much like Alex Trebek did, as long as Ken Jennings keeps his political views out of the show, I don't care what they are.

We'd forgotten she was going to be hosting. Went to watch Jeopardy. I was in an adjacent room. Heard my wife say something like "Katie Couric? Now way!" and turn it off.

I will not watch Katie Couric. That could be the end of Jeopardy if they made her the host.
