Please do not respond to this post saying that you won't listen to him. I feel the same way. He's one of the few leftists I find so reprehensible, I actively seek to avoid listening to even one single word from him, but when I saw the thumbnail of this clip, I was floored at how ill he looks. Look at the bags under his eyes. He looks old. This is not a well man.

And that's fine with me.

Take a listen. This guy's TDS is in its terminal stages. It's supposed to be a comedy show and he's supposed to be a comedian, but you can see that this is merely mental illness on display.

Check it out. This is a broken man.

He's walking around in his own minefield, so far up in his own mind's bubble that he doesn't realize that over half the country disagrees with him. I would like my 27 seconds back in the form of a check, please.

A lot of these guys used to do stand up as well. Political ranting is all I see, and he used to be funny and clever. His speech is more like a rant.

I would say the two individuals that I would deem are TRULY...I mean CLINICALLY...struck down with Trump Derangement Syndrome is this ass-hat and Keith Olbermann. These two LITERALLY display their certifiable mental instability associated with their pure hatred of President Trump every time they open their cake holes.

I wish both of them a long, painful, excruciating, debilitating death.

p.s. Could probably add several of the witches from "The View" to the list...

There was a time, and it wasn't all that long ago, where he was occasionally mildly funny.

Now he's just sad.

I usually watch about 5 minutes of his show once a year. He does appear to be going downhill physically and mentally.

I got a good laugh out of it. A grown ass man flailing his arms around like a child, ranting about things that he doesn't understand because anything outside his narrow view of the world is incomprehensible.

I think this asshole is a true believer, that Trump is a criminal, an evil man, a white supremacist, a stupid man. I think he truly thinks this. Unlike Soros, Hillary & Bill Clinton, Obama, Romney, etc; they fear Trump, they are scared of what he will do to their shell game of corruption.

Colbert has TDS real bad, it is terminal.

I wished he would've followed the Kathy Griffin Career Program, however he's too smart and has enough Beltway-Acela Corridor friends to not completely fall-off the wagon.

Perhaps he will just die in his sleep (worst case) or die in a flaming car wreck (best case)

I have been thinking he's going down hill for a while now. Hit comments that I catch on YouTube occasionally are getting further and further out there. I haven't seen anything he's done in the last six months or so but Para's link to the guy is eye opening. He looks terrible and seems far more unstable than the last time I saw him. Hopefully his demise is right around the corner. The world is far worse off with him around.

Yeah, all the flippant, smarmy bullshit is gone. The smirk that makes me want to hit him in the face with a baseball bat as hard as I can is gone. He looks angry, frustrated and sick.

When I first ran across him, many many years ago with his original show, I found it entertaining for a couple episodes, until I figured it out. Realized what I was watching. His shtick. Projection through satire, pretending to be conservative. What really shocked me, though I guess it shouldn't have, that long after he'd stopped doing that act, people I worked with, full on blind liberals, would argue with me that "No, Stephen Colbert is a conservative!". (Good lord, I knew you were stupid but I never realized to what degree.)

Definitely a sad and pathetic case of Stage-4 TDS.

There’s no cure.

It’s only a matter of time until he spontaneously combusts and the local HazMat team is called in to contain and clean up the messy and toxic remains.

Even before I knew his politics, I just didn't understand why people thought he was funny. A friend raved over his show around 2005 or 2006 and said I had to watch it with him. I didn't get it. Ditto for Kathy Griffin. I'm much more offended by their not being funny than their politics, which I don't care about, even if they are funny.

Never thought he was funny.
Mildly entertaining at the furthest definition.

The occasions that I did watch, I found his shtick rather anti-American and whiny.
Personally, I “usually” wouldn’t give him the time of day, however, in his case, I might just have to watch.
Just to see him implode! I think watching the moment live on TV when that last little twig snaps, the string breaks… That would be entertaining!

The truly sad thing is, there’s a large swath of people that actually watch him and believe the shit he spews is “news”.
