As long as the waist is correct, it’s whatever comes off the shelf. I never liked Thomas Magnums shorts, just too short. I hold ‘em up to my waist, if they’re a tad below the knee or at the knee, they’re sold. The drier might shrink ‘em a bit but not much.

I like Hybrid shorts. The pairs that I own sit right at the knee. They are light and airy and dry quickly (if that’s important to you). They have a little bit of stretch which is nice if you work out in them.

For working out, I was wearing Under Armour shorts that fell slightly below the knee. I got annoyed with having to pull them up before squatting or lunging. Recently, I got some Rogue Ranger Panties, but haven’t worked up the courage to wear them out in public. They’re great for sleeping shorts, though.

The only shorts I wear are jean shorts and above the knee. Standard fare from dawn to dusk in Missouri in the summer.

The only time you see below the knee is if it's an old guy. Smile

I’m back to where I started in the 70s & 80s above the knee. It was a weird feeling to go from at the knee to back above it. I felt like moving to Hawaii, buying a Ferrari, and solving murder cases.

Cargo shorts/BDU shorts, so just above the knee. I have some that are shorter, but most are just above the knee.

Around 7-9" for nicer shorts, a bit longer but above the knee for 'active use' shorts.

You start wearing them below the knee and they seize to be short and become.....capris or, is it manpris? Big Grin

Above. Running/workout shorts are 5" inseam.

I used to only like the below knee shorts but found the above knee are much more comfortable. I also do not wear short sleeve shirts. Doesn't matter how hot it is.
