This.

My ideal phone size is the iPhone 4. Mine died years ago and so I reluctantly went to the 6s. Now, there isn't a phone on the market the size of a 6s. I don't have pockets large enough to carry the bricks they're selling these days.

One other point that I wonder about: Why do they still call them "phones" when all they tout are the cameras? When I looked recently at the new iPhones, there was nothing stated about call quality, range, reception, etc. It's now all about screen size and camera capability? When I want to take photos, I grab my Nikon. When I want to make a phone call... well, you know.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

My daughter's old 7+ was dying. I ended up getting her the new 2020 SE. It works fine for her and was only $400. She thought she would miss the big screen but she's fine with it.

I'm still using the XS Max. I'll wait for the 13s.

Not minority enough!

I have an Xs, which I bought in July, just before the 11s came out. I would have had to wait about a year to get a significant price drop on the Xs.

The Xs was a nice step up for me, from the 8+. Apple gave me a good trade up price for the 8+. The Xs is the same physical size as the 8+, but since it has no wide bezels it is basically all screen, so I got a much bigger screen in the same physical size format I was used to.

I would suggest buy now. Your old phone is worth more now than it will be after the 12s come out, offsetting possible savings of a price drop on the 11 post 12.

When in doubt, mumble
