Pretty strange way to wake up. Had no idea why I was there nor where I was. Was told I fell and suffered head trauma. Don’t remember any of it. Spend three days in there because I demonstrated bi lateral vertigo and concussion with hairline fracture. I’m a fairly active person so my fall is a mystery. Back home now. Feeling about 80%. Not much appetite and Mrs DF is fussing about. Precious girl. Last time I was in the hospital for myself was 1984 having been hit by a car on my bicycle. Strange things.

Glad all is safe and sound at home, get better! You'll find this side of the dirt is more appealing!

Holy Cow! Hope you’re better soon. To wake up at someplace and not know how you got there is scary.

What is the last thing you remember before awakening?

Wow, darth, glad you are OK.
Best to you in your recovery.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Glad you are home and safe. I too have woken up not knowing where I was or who I was. It was pretty terrifying. Thankfully that only lasted a few minutes.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

I’ve never said this before, but WAS IT ALIENS?

Glad you’re awake and back home. No context clues as to what happened? Overturned chair or ladder? How were you found?

^^^^lol

I think I was experiencing something like labrynthitis (sp) which caused me to keel over. It’s only a theory.

...and were you probed?

WAIT!!! Don't answer that!!! Eek

I'm curious about the cause myself, I'm at the age where the unexpected becomes expected, as well.

Praying that your memory returns, that's gotta be scary as hell!

That must have been a weird deal to wake up like that. Praying you recover fully and it doesn't happen again.

Hope you get better soon. Not knowing what caused the fall must be brutal on the psyche. I'm sure they did a full workup, MRI and all to rule out a TIA. Guess I've read too many stories about going to the hospital for something and finding something else. Yeah, fell on my bike once and lost a few minutes but I knew what happened, the ambulance only took a couple minutes to show up in my timeline. Scary.

Stay hydrated and rested. You unfortunately have a rough few weeks ahead I had a similar accident at 18 and even at that young age the post concussion symptoms were brutal. Basically a month long hangover. I wish a speedy recovery

Glad to hear you are still with us. You would be surprised how many times that happens, as far as having a syncopal episode and how many people end up just like you. I have seen it many times and it can happen to anyone. I can only imagine how scary it is to wake in non-familiar surroundings. I will be praying for you.
