I know for a fact that I like them with one down side. The one I like best is 60 pounds, So I can't lift that in and out of my car. I need a two piece blower. Lift the thirty pound piece top off and put it on the ground , Then Lift the lower unit into the trunk Then Place the upper unit on to the bottom unit. For relocating it. That would help me out a bunch Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

Alternative would be to install a hitch receiver and use a cargo carrier with a ramp. I got one last year so I don't have to put the mower in the back of my vehicle (it is OK to lift, just don't want the grass it leaves behind in the vehicle). Something like this (although I bought mine via a different method): https://www.harborfreight.com/...r-carrier-67599.html

How often do you need to relocate the snow blower? If its only once or twice a year maybe just rent a small Uhaul trailer.

I have a Greenworks 40v battery - Single stage. It works well for smooth pavement, decks and walks. It weighs under 25 lbs and folds up pretty small for storage. It clears our 16x16 deck easily. I use bigger machines for the driveway. -Scott -NRA Pistol Instructor -NRA Shotgun Instructor -NRA Range Safety Officer -NRA Metallic cartridge & Shotgun Reloading Instructor -MA Certified Firearms Instructor

Hell I might get one just to clean up what the Ariens leaves behind. Being that they are battery run, I’ve never looked at any.

Where are you storing the snowblower if you don't have room for a hitch mount?

You might want to check ebay or one of the snowblower forums for somebody selling a used Toro CCR Powerlite-E single stage 2 stroke machine. Easy to repair by finding the service manual online and the whole thing weighs about 37 pounds. Mine’s still going after two decades. Just a thought.

And I don't have to relocate it , it's not mandatory. I only transport it to help out those that require assistance. An elderly person or two on the other side of tiny town. I am keeping my eyes out for an eight or ten y.o. s.u.v. . The snow is pretty close to being done , this year. Maybe it won't be a problem come fall. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. This one is 48 pounds but maybe you can find something similar. This may be able to be broken down into parts to make it lighter, not sure. Ryobi snow blower

Solve the problem another way. Rent the Lowe's or Home Depot truck for $20 for 75 minutes. So simple. Why try to buy something for the Le Sabre when you can just rent a truck? Ask the best question. WHAT I want is to relocate a snow blower three times each year. HOW can I accomplish this? Now we can help. Rent a truck. ------- Trying to simplify my life...

Rent a truck is a great idea but. In my area the rental trucks from Lowes are a cheap 2 wheel drive and basic all weather tires and terrible in the snow. _______________ NRA Life Member

It's a 35 minute drive , one way to Lowe's in good weather. So, since I don't get paid for the neighborly good deed. The two driveways would take forty minutes. Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Neck Ties, Hats and ammo brass, Never ,ever touch'em w/o asking first

EGO makes several levels of snow blowers, all electric and all fairly lightweight. They also make an Electric Snow Shovel, sort of a mini snow blower on a stick, the stick being the EGO electric power head. The advantage of that route is it's very light weight, comes apart into two pieces and would fit right in the the truck. It's on the page with the snow blowers at the link. https://egopowerplus.com/power-snow-blowers/ They also make a bristle brush attachment that is very good at moving fresh snow, and would be a good attachment to switch over to after using the snow blower. You can also clear a good amount of snow with the brush attachment, and, use it other times of the year such as sweeping a sidewalk/drive of leaves. Link Brush Attachment Nice video on the two pieces.
