A neighbor put a Mark Kelly (D) sign in her yard. Kelly is a serving senator from AZ who is lock step with Biden and running for reelection. Obviously, another neighbor took exception to Kelly and the political sign, and sent an anonymous letter. The liberal neighbor took exception to the letter and had to post the literary piece of art for the world to see. They were shocked that anyone would challenge their political views. I’m still laughing 2 days later. I'm sorry if I hurt you feelings when I called you stupid - I thought you already knew - Unknown ................................... I guess we’re supposed to hate on the person for posting the letter, but would it be the same if someone who put a Trump 2024 sign on their lawn got a similar letter from a lib neighbor and then posted it? Not sure who’s the asshole here.

The lack of civic political discourse in our country today affects both sides of the aisle. Notes like this serve no purpose other than making the situation worse. You're not going to change their mind about voting for Mark Kelly with a note like that, so it will will only needlessly ruin the relationship between neighbors. (I suspect if you were the recipient of such a note, you'd be posting it here with some shock and outrage too.) Sending a passive-aggressive anonymous note to a neighbor is bad form. The second half of the note, where it devolves into name-calling, is even worse form. I can't get behind this. Your neighbors have a right to politely and legally display their political support by posting a simple yard sign without being hassled, even when you disagree with their decisions.

She got a letter. boo hoo. Around here, R signs get defaced or removed. Does that make the letter acceptable. No, we should take the high ground and let people post w/o being hassled as positioned above. But I don't really give a flying rat's ass she get the letter either. The letter is a 3 sigma event. The R signs getting defaced/removed is norm. They cast the first stone. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." Whatever. I didn't put my Trump 2020 sign in my yard in western Washington because I didn't want my house burned down with us in it while we slept. She got a shitty note from a neighbor. Big deal. Also: Fuck Mark Kelly (D). ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

Lucky it's Arizona, Massachusetts the letter would be investigated as a hate crime, someone would be getting charged.

I think yard signs are just plain stupid... Does anyone really give a shit who you support?....No. And if you think that sign in your yard will change anything?, uh, you're wrong. All it does is make you look self-important to yourself...and yourself only. _____________________________ Pledge allegiance or pack your bag! Yep! you have to be a victim of something to be a democrat. Even if you have to make it up so you can claim your victimhood status.

I absolutely despise political signs . I would never remove one that is posted legally or write the owner a letter . But if I was in charge , they would not exist .

Yup. Every time I see a sign supporting a Dem, I think to myself "Well, there's another moron" but that's as far as it goes. I'd dearly love to put a little sign right in front of it that says "Please don't vote for ^^^" but...What RogueJSK said. I'd be beyond pissed if someone did that to my Trump sign. Golden rule and all that. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

I wouldn’t call political yard signs stupid or useless. Yes, it’s only that handful in the middle who may be sway-able. I’m the same, when I see a lefty sign, I think of the idiot that lives there. If it’s a business, that’s one place I’ll never go.

The amount Democrat stupidity displayed in the yards of MQT is amazing. Often, Marquette County is the only Democrat supporting county in the U.P. End of Earth: 2 Miles Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I think they are important. They let me know where the enemy lives. These are the people who want to take away my freedom. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton.

More like annoying. They stay up long after the election and then litter the area. The road signs are even worse as they block visibility.
