A decent affordable Land Rover Series wagon.

Can you trailer a blachawk? That is my HUGE powerball win dream....buy and learn to fly a Blackhawk or Chinook. Think of how many CAP cadets you could stuff in either and how jealous the other squadrons woud be. Big Grin

I use it primarily for market research for the specific make/model that I may be selling. However, I always get sidetracked looking at other cars.

I’ve been on BAT for a couple of years and I’ve bid on several but never won. The majority that sell are above market value. 90’s Tacoma’s going for 15-20k, OBS Powerstrokes for 20-30. There is a wide variety and I like the T-Type, GN’s, GNX and Typhoon/Syclone. I’m also trying to get a 12 valve Cummins I a 90’s Dodge.

I had a 69, 2002 in darkblue. It started my love of German cars.

MY BAT wish list would be another 2002, or a 69 Corvette Coupe.

69 c10, straight six. Baby blue. Just like Granddads.

Except... a turbo350 instead of that damn powerglide.

I would love to be a car collector.

‘65 Chevelle SS; I had two of them in my life. ‘66, or ‘67 would be alright too.

‘69 Z-28

‘61 Biscayne or Bel Air 2-door, 409

‘40 Ford

C2 Corvette

‘49-‘50 Ford 2-door coupe

‘55 Chevy

Some sort of sleeper MOPAR like a ‘64 Dart, Polara, or Plymouth Belvedere with a hemi.

Trying to be reasonable, so there are no GT2 RS Porsches on the list.

I posted on here a while back about getting my dream car - late 90s Viper GTS - and I had a nice chunk saved up for a down payment. This summer I was planning on making my move. But now, that money is dwindling down after my wife's loss of income due to the coronavirus bullshit. It's depressing to even go on that site anymore, I was so close, now I am officially back to dreamer/tire kicker status for at least the next two years.

I still check though. They had a red GTS on there a few weeks back with low miles and it did not meet the reserve at 38k. I am scared in two years the GTS values will increase so much that I will be priced out of the market. 90s cars over the next 10 years are going to increase dramatically and those 60s/70s cars will plummet.

If I had the loot, I'd bring home a 1968 Maserati Ghibli and a 1970 Dodge Superbee.

A non-trike Morgan. A Triumph Spitfire or TR6 with a functional electrical system. Any Land Rover before they went all flaccid. A Unimog. A Pinzgauer.

I wish I had my 77 El Camino and GMC Sprint back, and my 66 Corvair.

Don't we always want the first car we ever owned? I sure do. In fact, I want the first TWO cars!

1968 Chevy El Camino SS396 with the L78 425bhp engine.

The other was an early 1960s Austin Mini Cooper. I paid $300 for it and then dumped another $600 into it to trick it out.

A clean original and unmolested Porsche 356. I won’t be picky about version.

Perhaps a Vincent Black Lightning.

(Of course, I'd want those exhausts to thump a little -- might have to "adjust" the mufflers.)

So you want a Miata? Big Grin

I joke because I love and I owned a '72 Spitfire ran great until it hit a puddle.

Who would have thought an engine with basically an open engine bay (bottom) and Lucas electronics would have issues Wink

A friend of my parents that lived nearby, bought two new 1966 Chrysler cars. A hemi Belvedere, and the fanciest station wagon. He swapped engines and his daily driver was a four speed hemi station wagon. He drove the hemi wagon through a couple of overhauls. I don’t think I ever rode in the wagon, but he loved and was very proud of it. I did ride in the Belvedere without the hemi. It had stark instruments, special front brakes, and I think light hood, fenders and front bumper. It was always just a backup car for the family, and it got light use, and was babied.Eventually both cars were sold to the same guy who restored the hemi Belvedere.

Shoot, this is easy. 1961 Impala Super Sport with the factory 409. The run was very limited that year as it just came out and there were only like 140 of them built with that big block.

Over the years I have seen a few but they are pretty scarce.
