Very nice! Love that color.

As already suggested, convert all lights to LED and have someone replace the cam chain tensioners, go with the hydraulic system, much better than the spring type.

I currently have a 2008 Electra Glide Police, but I'm looking at a 2014 Street Glide.

The choice of lubricants is vast. Please carefully investigate the use of lubricants that are synthetic. Some years ago, H-D had a seal leakage issue when owners “upgraded” to the H-D synthetic oils. I have no personal knowledge of the age of the machines having the risk and the oil formulation or name on the bottle. Just passing on a horror story from a local dealer.

Beautiful RK and such low mileage! If you’re going to work on it I’d suggest picking up a HD service manual, they’re very well written. How old are the tires? (there’s a date on the side). If 9-10 years old or more I’d replace them.
The cam chain tensioners won’t need checked until 20,000 miles, but be sure to do it then.
If yours is like mine it came with air shocks, your owners manual gives the psi range for solo. extra luggage, and or passenger. Use the pump/gauge that Harley sells for checking and filling them. It’s probably around $50.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Went to Florida for vacation a few weeks ago and on the way back I stopped at a HD dealer. Wife surprised the shit out of me when she told me to put a deposit on this 2022 Police Road King with 9 miles on it. Have to wait until next week to take possession of it due to Harley’s requirement to keep unsold cop bikes for a certain amount of time. Can’t wait Cool

Congrats on the new cop RK, looks just like the one I bought at auction in 98. It's a blank canvas for customizing.

I took the solo seat off, mounted it to an old office chair and use it to roll around the bike when servicing or cleaning, still have that seat and chair I made today. Replaced the solo seat with a Corbin low solo (on bike in picture) and a two up touring seat for when the wife and I rode. Leather bags, wide low handlebars, chrome control covers, lowered it, cam, pipes etc..

Instead of painting the whole bike we painted the black parts HD cop white, then one night at Bike week in Daytona while having beers at the Boohill a friend and I dropped our cop bikes off at a pinstriping booth and I had black and red trimmed flames painted on it.

thanks whododat! I've already got plans to throw Custom Dynamics lights on the back and get rid of the terrible looking turn signal bar. Going with ProBEAM LED Fillerz, the Turn Signal eliminator license plate mount, and ProBEAM Low Profile LED Taillight with modulator. Should brighten things up and make me more visible during the day or night. Probably gonna stick the HogWorks Halomaker headlight and passing lamps on the front. Other than that, just throwing on a Mustang pillion, Utopia rider backrest (low back issues) and I've already got a Hepco & Becker Orbit Topcasae and mount that is going on the back for my wife.

Should be loads of fun travelling on the bike.

Congrats, that's a good-looking bike. Hopefully your riding weather is better than mine up here in Western WA...riding season has yet to really begin, unfortunately.

Meanwhile, here in TX, we're into the worst riding weather.
I'd take colder temps to roasting in full gear.
100* on an air cooled 650lb 'Harley' (2001 Indian Scout) isn't the most fun when you're not moving.

Nice bike.

Do find an Independent HD repair man as dealers try to SCREW HD owners on repairs, as experienced by me.

I used Red Line oils in my FXDL which made a hell of a difference in shifting and motor temps.

Keep an eye on oil usage due to some 2005 Harleys having valve guide seal issues, which was covered by HD factory warranty.

The roads from eastern TN to NC and VA make for some of the best riding in the east.

I'm also a fan of Custom Dynamics. Great products, plug and play and a lifetime warranty.
