Just heard from his widow that Terry Foley died Saturday in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire, of an apparent massive heart attack. Tac was a soldier, a polyglot, a dedicated and skillful shooter of most types of firearms and a special friend. He and Gay actually visited us twice when I lived in Oregon. He loved my native state almost as much as he loved "playing trains" with garden-scale locomotives -- and driving sports cars. Rest in peace my friend. Lighting a candle.

Oh wow! That sure was sudden and what a loss. Dang he was just posting recently. He had a great knowledge of Sig history and an input of news from his part of the world that we normally would not get from our news sources. His contribution to the forum will be missed.

Never met the man but always looked forward to his take on things from a unique perspective. Hard to process feelings of loss for someone that you only “knew” virtually, yet it still seems to hit hard.
Prayers for his wife, may he rest in peace and in comfort with our Lord.

I’m very sad. I didn’t know him personally, but always respected his opinion, and looked forward to his posts. Actually gasped when I saw this title line. May he RIP.
