Just don't run it for too long - Vitamix and Blendtec blenders are powerful enough that you can literally boil water in them just with the friction of the blades moving through the liquid. | |||

That's about 1/2 what I paid for my Vitamix in 2003. 16 years later and it works good as new. Should last a lifetime ... and then some. If I didn't have one, I'd jump on that deal !!! | |||

Yeah... I don't normally like using raspberries or strawberries in smoothies because of the seeds. A Vitamix will actually grind up the seeds in a smoothie to the point that there are no discernable bits left. | |||
