My apologies if this was already posted.
https://www.hockeyfeed.com/nhl...v1UiiTZPzOvot2KCP7J0I was raised in a college hockey loving family. This tragedy was always in the back of my mind when anyone got boarded, and I worry now about my son as his love for game grows and he starts playing at the contact level.
RIP, Travis Roy. Your courage and bravery were a tribute to you and the sport you loved.

sig2392RIP Travis.
Some of scariest moments as a parent was watching my son play hockey.
He played mites to Jrs.
He loved the sport but it scared the hell out of me more than once.

snorisI remember when it happened and I've followed his story off and on all these years. I don't know if I'd have had the courage and determination he displayed.
