She went and got her self a new daily driver. You may remember my question about the 17 ford focus rs. Well we found 75 in our area, I whittled it down to about 600 over dealer invoice using the family z plan pin. No, performance cars are not pin applicable. You can however use it as a lever to weasel them down.

2017 rs,
RS2 package
Sunroof
8 spoke wheels summer tires (not track, did not want the track tires)
winter tire and wheel kit,
and car cover.

Here is the happy lady setting up her phone.

The salesman helping her

Me? I was relegated to hauling the wheels and tires in my truck. How do I
My like it? Well, I need to loose 40lbs to really be comfortable in those recarro's. Other wise, it is a hoot. Moderate driving till broken in, then she will get a bit peppier.

As for the wife, She has named it, and claimed it. I am relegated to my truck.

It (motor) will loosen up around 1000 miles and give you overboost. It's a flipping monster. She got the slow color though Big Grin
I paid $1400 under invoice for mine.

What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Happy wife...

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Good job. My wife used to drive an Escort GT years ago, now she wont go for anything smaller than a Ford Edge or Explorer.

She likes to sit up high.

Enjoy your new ride.

A couple of years ago the first thing my son did when getting back from his last deployment was to go right down to the nearest Ford dealership and get a Focus ST. That was a blast to drive and I understand that the RD takes it to a whole new level.
Congrats!

Man they've changed the focus allot. Reminds me of the z24 cavalier back in the 90's.

Different wheels and tires for winter ? I've never heard of that.

Fun little car.

What did she name it?

Blue is a good sensible color. Yellow sticks out WAY too much, and red cars get more tickets than any other color. . . Smile
