Wonder if they will have a Kaepernick model, that has extra padding in the knees.

Maybe a series, showing Glock, SIG, S&W, etc.

Kind of like the tongue-in-cheek Chevron commercials from forty or so years ago: "Chevron gasoline will fill any shape gas tank!"

It may not come as a shock to any of us that Levi's stock just took an 11% hit. It seems (per the baloney article) that there are lots of excuses including "this is the reality as the red-hot Trump stock market has people spending on vacations and new cars instead of a fresh pack of underwear or pair of jeans." Really? People are buying vacations, cars etc, but not clothes? No indication in the article that Levi's virtue signalling anti-gun posture alienated some of their customers. Hmmm.

Their jeans don't last for shit anyway.
Switched to Wrangler and have been happy.

I worn Costco jeans for many years, until they started outsourcing them to China and the quality went to shit. I've been wearing Wranglers since then. The fact that I can buy three or four pairs of Wranglers for the price of one pair of Levis is just icing on the cake.

Duluth Trading for me. Great customer service and they make odd sizes and are comfortable. Levi-Straus can kiss my ass.

After Levi's established the Docker's brand at department stores, they chased the hipster/urban fixie market hard starting 20-years ago. Putting out artsy commercials, trying to 'celebrate their heritage' while producing nothing close to the quality that made them, they recognized that Carhartt and Wrangler was beating them at the market they established. Today, department stores will go the way of dinosaurs in the next 10-years and they've gotten themselves so deep into the socio-politico game that there's no return.

While sad that another iconic American-brand has been mismanaged into oblivion, I'm not going to cry any tears as the Haas family made their bed/grave, now they can sleep in it.

Levi's stock has been over priced for some time (years) it is still over priced. America is overrun with denim right now.

Never cared for their jeans even as a young-un. Wrangler's it is, and in the summer, Lee's Extreme Motion Crossroads shorts.

Here in yUK I wait until we are stateside before stocking up on Duluth/LL Bean or Wranglers. I'm a killer on the knees of pants, as I do a lot shooting from that position, with left and right hand shooting.

Never bought Levi's since the early 80's.

I don't think that I've worn Levis in over twenty years or around the time I got too fat for button fly jeans. I long for the days when companies just wanted to make a profit. I don't give a rat's ass about their politics, investing in the community, how green they are or anything except the product they make.

Well, I hate to admit it, but I have generally preferred Levis from what is available in my area. I can't wear Wrangler or Lees. 550 has been the most comfortable for me. I may give Carhart another try, as well as some of those suggested in this thread. There is a custom outfit in my area, but they are about $300!

Another Wrangler fan here. I wear the "relaxed fit" version.
