Levi's has been anti for, like, ever and a day. They just want to remind everyone, hoping for a bump in sales and popularity, let everyone see how woke they are.

It was back in the 70's that I quit wearing Levi's because they were so anti-gun.

The linked article says, "Bergh [Levi-Strauss CEO] is a retried Army officer" but it does not say when he was tried the first time, nor what the charges were. It just states that he is "retried."

We don't even know whether it was a court-martial or a civil trial.

Same here.
This is nothing new for Levis.

You've got to admire their consistency.

So, who in the USA makes good jeans and supports the Constitution of the USA?

I wear Wrangler jeans and have for as long as I can remember. One of a handful of national sponsors of PRCA rodeo, they seem as American as ...well, you know.

Please don’t tell me they’re not

Levis haven't been made in the USA in about 10 years or more. I quit wearing them when they switched production to Mexico, then to some Caribbean shithole.

Levi's were on the cutting edge of the political anti-gun movement years back. Wranglers work fine for me.

Yeah, I dropped them in the early 80's. Found out today in an interesting piece that Nike makes shoes in China, but China subs them out to North Korea.

They're owned by VF, who's internal language is decidedly liberal. I know I represent one of them.

VF owns a major chunk of the denim business (Wrangler, Lee, 7 for all Mankind, etc), workwear (Dickies, Red Kap, Bulwark, Kodiak, Walls etc) and Merino wool (Smartwool, Icebreaker) in their respective markets. Not to mention big brands like The North Face, Timberland, Jansport, Altera, Eagle Creek, Reef, etc. They recently announced their denim and workwear brands will be broken-off to form a new company. Perhaps preventing certain 'infectious attitudes' from spreading... Roll Eyes

For 30 years there hasn’t been a liberal cause that Levi Strauss hasn’t injected itself into. They’ve been irrelevant to me for decades now.

I am a recent convert from Levi’s, been wearing them since I was 13 year. Hen they were $3.00 a pair. Now, what Wranglers do you recommend?

I don't own any Levi's, but someone needs to start a twitter campaign or whatever of people showing their guns next to their Levi jeans. A photo of a pistol next to the Levi tag on the back with a caption like "my Levi's fit great when I am carrying my Glock" or something to that effect.
