Brother in-law still has not been able to be with the kids. The police are trying to get an Emergency Protective Order so he can take custody of his kids from the ex. We are praying that he can get sole custody of them, as there are real issues with the mother and step-father. This situation just brings this absolutely into focus.

Kids are safe, but staying with the mother, it's still her time. My Brother in-law will get them back tomorrow, and he is going to his lawyer in the morning.

The mother is being vindictive, because my BIL called the police after receiving texts from the girls saying they were being beaten and he could not get in contact with the mother. Everything escalated to this moment.

Police and BIL hands are tied, have to work through the system. Sucks that the children have to be in the middle of this.
