Hey all,

As I type this, my step nieces are in a hostage situation in Stockton CA. As of this moment this is what we know, my brother in-law's ex-wife and children are being held hostage in their home by the ex-wife's husband. the two oldest girls are my brother in-laws and the infant is the ex and husbands.

My sister in-law says that the girls have been beaten by the husband. The husband is a veteran with diagnosed PTSD. Unknown if firearms are available. He did use his wife and infant as a shield when first contacted through open front door. The VA in Washington has been contacted to have a crisis negotiator available.

If you would, can you please pray for a peaceful resolution to this situation. Please pray for Abigail and Gabrianna, they no doubt want to be with their Daddy.

Thank you.

All the best to everyone involved, but if he’s actually holding people hostage by force or fear, I hope that more than a crisis negotiator is responding to the incident.

My wife is with my Sister in-law. My Brother in-law is on scene with police.

Police have the husband on the phone and trying to talk him out.

The wife came out of the house to try and get police to leave saying everything is ok. The police will not let her back into the house. So now, the husband is in the house alone with the kids.

PTL the situation has come to an end peacefully. I sure hope the man gets his head straight. More than one vet I know has not been helped with the meds. Often these meds are 2 and 3 deep in an effort to 'help' the patient.

Yeah, we are hoping that he gets the help he needs. Hopefully he is on his way to getting that help now.
