So...twice these guys have been caught by US law enforcement breaking federal laws yet, they get released? The judge tells them to stay away from military bases and show-up for their hearing in Sept?
Am I missing something here or, does some other dept have more on these guys and their waiting to see who else they can snare?

Illegal immigrants arrested on military base for trespassing walk free after posting five-figure bail

Two Jordanian nationals in the country illegally and who were arrested for trespassing on a Marine Corps base in Virginia have been released from federal custody after posting bond, federal officials confirmed to Fox News Digital.

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) official confirmed to Fox News Digital that Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous were allowed to bond out by an immigration judge in June.

The bonds were $15,000 and $10,000 for Hamdan and Dabous, respectively. Conditions of their release include showing up for immigration proceedings and staying away from Quantico or other military installations.

Both men are expected to appear in a Virginia federal court in September.

Hamdan crossed into the U.S. illegally in April in the U.S. Border Patrol's San Diego sector and was released. Dabous was illegally present in the U.S. after overstaying a student visa, ICE told Fox News.

The ICE official said there was no reason to believe either man had any ties to a terrorist organization, saying "no derogatory information was determined."

"They are allowed their due process." a federal source told Fox News "There is no information tying either one of them to any nefarious organization."

ICE had previously said one of the men had been arrested near San Ysidro, California, in April after entering illegally, and the other had overstayed the terms of his student visa. ICE said the two men remain in removal proceedings, despite being free.

The incident occurred on May 3 at Quantico Marine Corps Base in Virginia. A Marine base spokesperson said two people in a box truck had been stopped at a gate.

The driver allegedly told military police officers they were making a delivery to the post office and worked for a company subcontracted by Amazon.

"It was at that time, one of the military police officers noticed the driver, ignoring the direct instructions of the officers, continued to move the vehicle past the holding area and attempted to access Marine Corps Base Quantico," spokesperson Capt. Michael Curtis said in a statement. Officials later turned them over to ICE after their arrest for trespassing.

It’s still not clear how the two men knew each other or what their intent was for attempting to enter the military installation.

The incident had raised fears of a potential terrorist attack, although ICE has repeatedly stressed there is no indication of a public safety or national security threat from the two men, and both appear only to have been charged with misdemeanor trespassing.

The incident is one of a number of such incidents involving illegal immigrants, in a year when the ongoing crisis at the southern border has become a top political issue. Some Republicans have linked the incident at Quantico to policies of the Biden administration.

The administration has accused Republicans of blocking reforms and funding to fix the historic crisis, while Republicans accuse the administration of rolling back successful Trump-era policies and fueling the crisis as a result.

It's as if 9/11 happened in a different solar system. WTH?

While I don't hope for it, I will not be surprised if in two years or 20 years a bunch of illegal immigrants from countries that hate our guts pull off another 9/11. And the first question will be "When did you enter the country?" Could it be between Jan 2021 and Jan 2025?

First, these two foriegn criminal invaders were released on bond in JUNE 2024.

Second, per JW, one of them is on the infamous Terror Watch List. And was let go by DHS. Brilliant minds.

JudicialWatch.com: Jordanian Illegal Alien who Tried to Breach Military Base Released Despite Being on Terror Watchlist

Corruption Chronicles | August 05, 2024

Though the Biden administration has publicly denied it, one of the Jordanian illegal immigrants released from federal custody after being charged for trying to breach a U.S. military base appears on a terror watch list, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. The men, 32-year-old Hasan Yousef Hamdan and 28-year-old Mohammad Khair Dabous, posted bail in early June and were released by the Washington D.C. Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the records show. A Department of Justice (DOJ) immigration judge in Annandale, Virginia set Dabous’ bail at $10,000 and Hamdan’s at $15,000 and they were freed after posting bond and agreeing to stay away from military facilities and to appear in court for immigration hearings.

Judicial Watch has been investigating the matter since the Jordanians tried to infiltrate Marine Corps Base Quantico on May 3, quickly firing off a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain records that could shed light on what occurred that day and uncover any threat that the individuals may represent. The Virginia base is about 35 miles south of Washington D.C. and houses the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Academy and Laboratory as well as a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) facility and Marine Corps commands that include the unit that flies the president’s Marine One helicopter. Initial reports revealed that in the early morning hours of May 3, Hamdan and Dabous drove a truck to the military installation’s main gate and told guards they were making a delivery to Quantico Town’s post office. They ignored guards’ orders to stop when they could not provide credentials required to gain access to the facility. The illegal immigrants were arrested and charged with misdemeanor trespassing on military property.

A Serious Incident Report (SIR) filed by Marine Base Quantico to Marine Headquarters confirms that a white box truck driven by Dabous tried to access the installation via a gate on Fuller Road. Guards asked for a license to conduct a visitor check and directed Dabous to move the truck into the inspection area. While the guard transmitted the drivers’ license information for vetting, the truck moved forward from the holding area and final denial barriers were deployed, according to the SIR report obtained by Judicial Watch. The passenger, Hamdan, could only provide a Jordanian passport for identification and both men were taken into custody. “Hamdan illegally entered the United States 20 days ago from Mexico into California where Hamdan was arrested and sent to an immigration camp with a deportation court date in 2026,” the SIR report states. An ICE officer, whose name is redacted in the document, “telephonically confirmed” to the Marine Criminal Investigations Division (CID) that “Hamdan was on a terror watch list,” the report says, further revealing that ICE personnel assumed custody of Hamadan and Dabous for further processing.

Despite the Marine SIR documenting that Hamdan appears on a terror watch list, the government—specifically ICE—has consistently denied it. A spokesperson for ICE ERO in Washington D.C. told Judicial Watch that neither man posed a threat to national security or the public.
The spokesperson, James Covington, assured that the agency is “focused on smart, effective immigration enforcement that protects the homeland through the arrest and removal of those who undermine the safety of our communities and the integrity of our immigration laws.” Covington also emphasized that “regardless of nationality, ICE makes custody determinations on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with U.S. law and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) policy, considering the circumstances of each case” and that ICE officers “apply prosecutorial discretion in a responsible manner, informed by their experience as law enforcement professionals and in a way that best protects the communities we serve.”

While Hamdan is one of hundreds on the terror watchlist to sneak into the country through the famously porous southern border, Dabous was admitted in the U.S. on September 11, 2022, as an F-1 nonimmigrant student with authorization to remain for the duration of his student status, records obtained by Judicial Watch show. On January 14, 2023, Dabous’ Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) record was set to “terminated,” indicating that his permission to be in the country expired, though he never left. Judicial Watch will continue investigating this case and fighting for records that can further uncover the outrageous security lapses associated with the Biden administration’s dangerous open border measures.

President Trump needs to defund everything in DHS and divert all that money to expediting the immigration hearings needed to deport about 12 million foreign criminal invaders.

US still needs some black sites for individuals like these two. If an individual on the terror watch list is caught on a military base removal from US soil and interrogation is appropriate.

if the US won't do it, perhaps the people should step in and do it for them

we are at about at the point where it can be proven without a shadow of a doubt that this government is not at all interested in protecting the citizens of this country, or upholding the rule of law

if the government isn't interested, why should we be?

While illegals and individuals on terror watch lists are set free you better believe if you broke the law the government without a doubt will suddenly be interested in making sure they prosecute you.

I believe 100% there will be a massive terrorist attack in the country that dwarfs 9/11 and will happen a lot sooner than 20 years from now and maybe not even 20 months from now. Since Biden has been in office over 100 people on terrorist watch lists have been captured coming across the border and if they caught a hundred how many thousands have come across undetected? We are in big trouble and I'm thinking any attack will be on the scale of what happened in Israel but much larger.

Some random white journalist should trespass on the quantity base and see how the treatment by the authorities is different. I’ll bet a shiny quarter he’d land in jail.

The left has been lying to their base about "project 2025" for a while now. Let's call their bluff. I would be in favor of employing decimation as a firing strategy for tenured Federal employees working at rogue agencies. We get to pick the 10%, and start from the top ranks down. Four years of that would certainly rattle some cages, and be deserved after what the bureaucracy has done to the country in recent years.

So they say they were subcontractors for Amazon, otherwise no connections to each other? Were they directed to a secondary inspection area after ignoring the MP’s orders? If later cited/arrested, how about a search of the truck incident to arrest? Was NCIS notified prior to releasing them or were all the agents at lunch? And why are we releasing these mopes back into general population if we know they entered illegally? What a cluster intercourse.

I pray we don’t have to lose any American service members or citizens to terrorism, especially in the CONUS when we have policies/procedures in place to protect against same, but I don’t believe my prayers will be answered.
