90 degree. At work, I’m using a wired Evoluent left hand mouse. At home, I’m using a wireless right hand Anker. The Evoluent is a much better mouse, but I really needed wireless at home since the cat sits in my lap and would play with a moving cable.

| I had some problems about 10-15 years ago when I was doing a ton of PC time for work and then still mousing at night playing some online games. The company I worked for actually had an ergonomics team that evaluated my work space and gave me several useful suggestions. First, was making sure I was seated a proper height and my posture was good. They also had me switch hands by putting in a track ball on my left side. One day I'd used the track ball with my left hand and another I'd mouse with my right hand. I also switched up my pointing devices at home.
Most helpful was the stretching they recommended and the night-time wrist brace. They had me get up at least once an hour during work and physically stretch my arms and wrists for a few mins. This helped a lot!!! I would also wear a brace at night which helped reduce the stress from the day and stop my wrists from being bent or kinked at night.
My mother-in-law had surgery with mixed results. Fortunately I was able to mitigate any long-term or permanent issues with the above actions and no surgery. I'd strongly consider the stretching and continuing to use the brace nightly. And if you are mousing a ton, rotating which hand you use to mouse should also offer some relief if it doesn't bother you too much to use the other hand. |

Needs a bigger boat
| It's a long shot, so I just thought I'd post this up here. I had what I thought was Carpal Tunnel about 15 years ago and went in for a full physical workup, found out I had really high blood sugar (A1c over 11) which was causing neuropathy pain in my wrists. (A1c is now 4.6 and I'm off all diabetes meds)

| If you can handle it, try wearing your wrist braces to sleep. Apparently we bend our wrists a certain way when we sleep and it makes it worse. I am awaken with numb hands several times each night if I do not wear braces. I’d love to get it repaired but also a bit nervous to let the VA do it unless it’s under the choice program. |
