When I first took over in Memphis, I was offered a house on the grounds of the Prison. I declined and found a place in midtown. I just didn't want 4000 convicts knowing where I lived and when we came and went. This is a tragic end to a promising life. Please say a prayer for everyone in the Corrections family tonight! That is horrendous. You're just doing a job to earn a living to support your family. And, then, the death of your daughter is connected to it. I can't imagine how crushed the parents are over this. Animal. Killing a child should earn one a special place in hell. I have a class which is meant as the next step after a license class. The biggest point I try to make is: 1. Stuff like this makes me wish we could have 'expedited justice' for heinous crimes. Drag 'em out behind the courthouse and bullet in the back of the head. Like a rabid animal. No room for criminals like this in a functioning society.
